Welcome Back Warriors for the 2025-2026 School Year!
Here is some helpful info to help everyone have a great start to the year.
The first day of school is Wednesday August 6, 2025. Students can pick up their schedules starting at 7:35 AM and all students must pick up their schedules before going to 1st hour, Students will be directed to their 1st hour classes at 7:57 AM so that class can begin at 8:00.
The student pick up and drop off area is the same as last year. Please see below for the route. In order to ensure a safe drop off and pick up for all of our students refrain from dropping students off on Boardman.
Students will be receiving their school supply boxes the first day of school. Most of these items will be remaining in their classrooms so that they are available for your student in class.
As with last year, students are expected to follow the GMCS dress code which includes no shorts, no sweatpants, no pants with tears, holes or rips and no red or royal blue clothing. A full copy of the dress code can be found on the school website.
Cell phones can be a major distraction for students during the school day. In accordance with Senate Bill 11, schools are to have a wireless communication device policy. Our school’s policy is that phones should not be in use during the school day including when students are at lunch. If students are on their phone during the day the device may be confiscated, and it will only be released to their student’s parent or guardian. This is the same policy that was adopted last school year.
As a reminder, all visitors to campus will be required to show an ID and sign in using our Verkada system. This is to ensure the safety of everyone on campus. Please be ready to provide identification and this includes when checking out students.
We will be having our open house on Thursday August 14, from 5:00-6:30 PM.
